Stylized Diorama - Multi-Level Shops - From 2D Concept to 3D

I wanted to re-create a 2D concept image that I found very interesting and model almost everything from scratch. I tried to use MAYA exclusively to practice and familiarize myself again after years of not using it. I'm not going to lie, it took me a little longer than I anticipated because I've been re-learning where the tools are and what they are equal to 3DS Max modifiers. Though it was slow, I enjoyed the process, and helped me ramp up the speed to get it done.

It wasn't just MAYA I was learning, I was also learning how to take advantage of using Substance Painter (lightly on this project) and Substance Stager. I think for this diorama style purpose, it works well for rendering with Ray Tracing. Stager has pretty cool features and an easy-to-learn interface. It doesn't have the more complex settings I'm used to but it's a good tool to use depending on your project especially if its a "modeling showcase" that would orbit the camera around.
